Harvey A. Sackstein is the founding and senior partner of the Nassau County, New York Personal Injury Law Firm of Sackstein Sackstein & Lee, LLP. Mr. Sackstein was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1927 and passed away in 2014. He attended Duquesne University and received his Bachelor of Laws degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1952.
Mr. Sackstein practiced law since 1952 and was admitted to practice law in the State of New York. He was also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He was been a past member of the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York County Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association of Justice and also served as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.
For over 60 years, Mr. Sackstein had successfully represented thousands of clients, negotiating settlements of millions of dollars in personal injury cases including a $10 million settlement in 2007 for a pedestrian struck and seriously injured by a motor vehicle. As a key member of our team of personal injury lawyers, Mr. Sackstein was instrumental in a number of other successful verdicts and settlements.
